We recommend not requesting a code again for a full 24 hours and then trying to log in. Make sure your number is correct, and you're not including a country code. In case 24 hours have passed, and it’s still not working, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the app is up to date by checking your app store
2. Log out of Bumble for Friends and delete the app
3. Clear your device's cookies/cache
4. Download Bumble for Friends again
5. Log in to the app
You also may want to try another option to verify and access your account (these will be shown on the screen):
- Receive a phone call: you don't need to take the call; just type the last six digits of the number we're calling you from
- Use Facebook or Apple ID (for iOS): These methods don't require any SMS/OTP codes
Lastly, make sure you’re not using Bumble for Friends through a VPN (virtual private network), which will block you from receiving an SMS code from us. We recommend turning off your VPN to make sure you're requesting the code from your registration country.
You'll need to wait to return if you aren't in your registered country right now. Otherwise, you'll only be able to log in if you've added a second login method to your account, which should be used instead.
